About Hansmann Construction, Inc.

Established in 1979, Hansmann Construction, Inc. is a third generation, fully licensed general building contractor serving the local Santa Cruz area. They specialize in home remodels and custom new construction projects.

Owner and president, Steve Hansmann, has over 40 years of experience in construction. He and his brothers grew up working in construction for their father. Steve’s “foundation of experience” in construction began with his successful foundations and framing business which quickly expanded to a general construction company after he was propositioned by architects to take on the G.C role. The rest is history. These days, Steve is now accompanied by his two sons, John and Dave.

Family owned and operated, we are committed to offering quality craftsmanship, integrity and mindfulness to our clients. Building is what we do and we do it because we enjoy it. Our experience and appreciation of the trade enable us to carefully navigate our clients through the complexities of the construction process with a team oriented mind set.
